A federal judge placed Donald Trump's ex-campaign chairman Paul Manafort under house arrest and ordered him to post a $10 million bond after he pleaded not guilty to charges of money laundering and conspiracy against the United States.
Manafort and partner Rick Gates, who was also placed under house arrest and ordered to post a $5 million bond, surrendered to authorities earlier after federal special prosecutor Robert Mueller unveiled his first charges in a probe of Russian interference in the 2016 US elections.
Both were charged in relations to payments they received from pro-Russia former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych.
