Romania anti-govt demos largest since 1989 fall of communism

At least 200,000 people hit the streets across Romania on Wednesday for anti-government protests, the largest since communism fell in 1989, media reports said.
The demonstrators, at least half of whom were in Bucharest, were voicing opposition to the government's decriminalising of a string of corruption offences.
