US president Donald Trump on Saturday said he was reassured by Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin that "he didn't meddle" in US elections that propelled the billionaire former reality star to the White House.
"He (Putin) said he absolutely did not meddle in our election," Trump told reporters on Air Force One en route to Hanoi, adding: "I really believe that when he tells me that, he means it."
