President Beji Caid Essebsi
Tunis - Arab Today

The Nobel Peace Prize awarded Friday to Tunisian national dialogue mediators recognises the "path of consensus" chosen by the country after the 2011 revolution, President Beji Caid Essebsi said.

As well as honouring the mediators, it acknowledges "the path we have chosen, that of finding consensual solutions," Essebsi said in a video posted on the presidency's Facebook page.

"Tunisia has no other solution than dialogue despite ideological disagreements," he added.
