A 13-year-old and a 17-year-old were shot dead Sunday as Venezuela was swept by violent protests against Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro's powerful constitution re-writing assembly, prosecutors said.
The first victim was killed in the town of Capacho Viejo and the other in Tucape, both in the western state of Tachira on the border with Colombia, prosecutors said. They earlier reported a soldier had been shot dead in clashes in the same region.
