White House: Obama to make statement on climate pact at 2230 GMT

US President Barack Obama will make a statement at 5:30 pm (2230 GMT) on the historic climate pact approved by 195 nations on Saturday in Paris, the White House said.
Obama, who made the environment one of his chief priorities after taking power in 2009, will deliver the statement from the Cabinet Room at the presidential mansion, officials there said.
