The rain is likely to reach northern England by the end of the night.
London - Arab Today

The latest outlook for the UK from the Sky News weather team
Dense freezing fog may well bring some travel disruption this morning.

The fog across England will slowly lift with most places brightening up although some spots may remain rather grey and murky.

It will feel quite cold after a frosty start with temperatures reaching around 6C in the South East. Western coasts and hills of England will turn rather drizzly later.

Wales will also see drizzly rain move in this afternoon after a mostly dry but cloudy morning.
Ireland and Scotland will see any early mist or fog lift to bring a mostly cloudy day with the best breaks across eastern and northeastern areas.

Helped by some sunshine, the Moray Firth and Aberdeenshire may see the highest temperatures today of 13 to 16C.

It will be breezy with southwesterly winds.
This evening and tonight a front will bring a band of rain across Scotland and Northern Ireland with clearer, colder weather following.

The rain is likely to reach northern England by the end of the night.

Further south it will not be as cold as last night or as foggy, but there will be areas of mist, low cloud and drizzle around with the odd fog patch possible. It will be mostly frost-free.
Tomorrow we will see rain stretching from southern Ireland across Wales to northern England and the Midlands.
