Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue received a fine of $30,387 for engaging in physical contact with a game official in his team’s loss to San Francisco Sunday.
Ngakoue joined in at the tail end of a fracas that included teammate Malik Jackson and 49ers running back Matt Breida. As officials worked to separate Breida and Jackson, Ngakoue rushed up, jawing at Breida and bumped referee Jeff Triplette as he did.
Ngakoue was hit with a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. His fine was the largest handed out to players in the past week.
• San Francisco’s Cassius Marsh and the Chargers’ Joey Bosa both received fines of $18,231 for roughing the passer penalties.
