Egyptian Actor Ahmed Rizk told Arabstoday that he is “very happy to cooperate with actor Ahmed El Sakka again after we worked together in the movie ‘Mafia’ about 10 years ago or more. When I was offered the role in the series ‘Red Lines’ I accepted immediately because I trust my colleague Ahmed El Sakka as he would never take part in a bad project.” he added “In this series I play an evil character that required me to cut my hair and wear a bald wig!" About the huge number of Ramadan series on offer this season Ahmed was complimentary about the quality of the shows. “This year’s series are highly professional for many reasons. First of all the directors are cinema directors like Ahmed Shafik, Shady El Fakharany, Ramy Adel Emam and Khaled Marii. The second reason is the return of big stars to the screens during Ramadan and third, most of the topics discuss the many faces of corruption we have been suffering for a long time. The last reason from my point of view, is that the series' were filmed after the decrease in the number of criminals on the streets, so the production teams and actors had more opportunity to work safely.”
