The Egyptian director Nabil al-Gohary will continue shooting the final scenes for the “Bel Amr Al Mobasher” series in the second half of Ramadan. The series is to be broadcast by El Mahrosa and El Kanal Channel. The plot is about a middle-class family, consisting of the father Salah who works as a public sector engineer, and the mother Eman who is an employee in an insurance company. They live in a flat in Abdeen and have two daughters and a son who is studying in the Faculty of Mass Communication and working as a journalist in-training. The son becomes involved in political activisim and participates in vigils against the regime; all is well until he is arrested. Many shows were postponed or cancelled following last year’s revolution in Egypt but as stability returnd to the country so does support for the film industry with over 200 soap operas to choose from, leading to many being delayed until next year instead. The series star Gamal Abdel Naser, Nehal Anbar, Ahmed Azmy, Yasser Farag and Marwa Abdel Moniem. It is written by Zakaria al-Saily and directed by Nabil al-Ghohary.
