The producers of Tina Fey's new Fox television series said they signed "CSI" alum Brandon Jones to the cast. Jones will play Gerald, a pioneering male student at a historically women-only college in the still-untitled series being produced by Fey and Matt Hubbard. Jones' character is described as the handsome but naive son of a small Mormon town in Utah who vows to uphold his religious nature despite the temptations of college life. Jones is the second of four male leads who will be playing it for laughs at fictional Cabot College. Broadway's Jack Cutmore-Scott is already aboard as a preppy playboy with obvious Kennedy-family traits, the Hollywood Reporter said. The Reporter said the Cabot College project is part of Fox's strategy of dropping pilots and shifting to year-round series.
