Director Ahmed Nahass is set to begin shooting his new TV series Halal and Haram (‘What is religiously forbidden and what is not’) in mid-January. The series tell four different stories revolving around the same theme, which is the concept of Halal and Haram in our everyday lives Halal and Haram is the first production for Voice of Cairo in 2013 and is set to be shown on the small screen next Ramadan. Nahass named the four chapters of the story: Fate, Waif, The Man Who Was, and Thanks Life, which have 15 episodes each. We start with Fate, which tells the story of a divorced woman with two daughters in their teens. It stars Bossi, Samiha Ayoub, Mahmoud Kabil, and Bassem Samra. The episodes will be filmed between the City of Production and the studios of Cairo Voice, while some scenes will be filmed in the Ain Sokhna.
