The Lebanese TV series Juzur is proving popular with viewers, according to ratings figures from television channels and production companies. The programme, produced by MR Seven in participation with Endemol, ?has been broadcast by LBC since before Ramadan. ? It has previously been shown on both the Emirati channel Abu Dhabi TV and the Egyptian al-Nahar TV, but after reaching its 60-episode milestone the show was moved Lebanon’s LBC, becoming a strong contender in the annual Ramadan soap opera battle. Senior critics from across the Middle East have praised the Lebanese ?series, whose ambitious scope and ?diversity of shooting locations have taken Lebanese TV new heights. MR Seven is now preparing to shoot a new series ?which also promises to surprise with its locations and production techniques. The producer Mufeed al-Refai is keeping the identity of the actors, and especially the main actress, under wraps. He plans to reveal the details at a major press conference after Ramadan.
