Naomi Campbell joins 'American Horror Story: Hotel'

Naomi Campbell has reportedly joined the cast of American Horror Story: Hotel.

The 45-year-old model will portray a fashion editor who clashes with Lady Gaga's character, according to TV Line. Campbell will also appear alongside returning star Angela Bassett, and "pays the ultimate price for her critiques" on the season.

Series creator Ryan Murphy previously revealed Lady Gaga will have a love triangle with Finn Wittrock and Matt Bomer. The 29-year-old singer requested an "evil" role, and appeared in a new teaser for the show this month.

American Horror Story premiered in 2011, and will return for Hotel, its fifth season, in October. Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Wes Bentley and Evan Peters will also return, with newcomer Richard T. Jones slated to play Detective Hahn.

Campbell has modeled for such brands as Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Yves Saint Laurent, and serves as a coach on the U.S. and Australian versions of reality competition The Face. She plays Camilla Marks on Fox musical drama Empire.
