Neve Campbell has joined the cast of House of Cards.
The 41-year-old actress will star as a series regular alongside Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright on season 4 of the Netflix political drama. Deadline reports Campbell may portray half of a new power couple who rivals Frank (Spacey) and Claire Underwood (Wright).
House of Cards is based on the Michael Dobbs novel of the same name, which was previously adapted as a BBC miniseries. The show follows Frank Underwood's ruthless and ambitious rise to political power, and will return for a fourth season in 2016.
Campbell is known for portraying Julia Salinger on Fox series Party of Five and Sidney Prescott in the Scream film series. She appeared on ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy and AMC series Mad Men in recent years, and will guest star on Swedish sitcom Welcome to Sweden.
