U.S. cable network Nickelodeon said Friday it has ordered a second season of "Instant Mom," its family comedy starring Tia Mowry-Hardrict. Russell Hicks, Nickelodeon's president of content development and production, announced the renewal and said the network also ordered six additional episodes to add to its current first season. "In just a couple months since its debut, 'Instant Mom' has resonated remarkably well with the Nick at Nite and NickMom audiences," Hicks said in a statement. "We're thrilled to witness its early success alongside 'See Dad Run' and families enthusiastic about Tia and an undeniably charismatic cast."
