Shaq to appear on Season 2 of 'Fresh Off the Boat'

Former NBA player Shaquille O'Neal will guest star on an episode of Fresh Off the Boat next season.

According to reports, the towering celebrity will appear in the show's third episode of its third season called "Shaquille O'Neal Motors." No further details have been divulged.

ABC's Fresh Off the Boat first premiered in February of this year. The sitcom, set in the late 1990s, follows the life of the Huangs, a Taiwanese-American family which makes a big move from Washington, D.C.'s Chinatown to Orlando, Fla., to chase the "American Dream."

This isn't the first television appearance for O'Neal. The former professional athlete has also starred in guest roles in My Wife and Kids, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Parkers and Southland.

The comedy's sophomore season premiers Tuesday, Sept. 22 on ABC.

In addition to his basketball career, O'Neal has released four rap albums, with his first, Shaq Diesel, going platinum. He has appeared in numerous films and has starred in his own reality shows, Shaq's Big Challenge and Shaq Vs..
