Production on the fifth and final season of "Fringe" has been delayed while cast member John Noble is treated for a sleep disorder, The Hollywood Reporter said. The science-fiction show is expected to resume taping in Vancouver early next month instead of this week as planned, the entertainment industry trade newspaper said. Production on Season 5 of the series, starring Joshua Jackson, began last week and was expected to continue Tuesday. It is now scheduled to resume on or around Aug. 7 so Noble can deal with his health issues, The Hollywood Reporter said. Fresh episodes of the show are to begin airing Sept. 28.
