VH1 Classic says it is planning a 56-hour mega-marathon of its series "That Metal Show" this weekend as a run-up to the series 11th season premiere next month. The television event is to begin 10 p.m. EDT Friday and will run through 6 a.m. EDT Monday. "Watch throughout the weekend and relive some of the most memorable 'That Metal Show' moments as hosts Eddie Trunk, Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine interview some the greatest heavy-rock icons ever including the likes of Axl Rose, Slayer, Rob Halford, Metallica, Lemmy Kilmister and Rob Zombie," VH1 said in a news release Friday.
