Cairo - Mahmoud Al Refaie

Egyptian artist Nesma Galal is delighted with her role in television series The Farm, a biopic on the reign of former president Hosni Mubarak. Galal stars as Khadija, wife of Gamal Mubarak, the son of the former president who is currently serving a prison sentence at el-Mazraa prison in Giza. The series is being directed by Adel Mackain, and produced by Mohsen al-Galad. Several prominent Egyptian performers have signed up for the project, including Tallat Zakaria, Raja el-Jedawy, Ahmed Rateb and Ayman Azab. Galal is happy with her key role in the narrative and feels its an honour to work alongside some of Egyptian film and television's big names. Galal said her role is comedic, because the series as a whole take a lighter look at presidential rule in Egypt.
