Radio titan Howard Stern announced Monday he will return as a judge on Season 10 of the television competition show America's Got Talent.
"I decided that a life without AGT is not a life worth living," Stern said in a statement. "America needs a caring, compassionate and wise judge and who am I to deny the people what they want? It would be selfish of me to walk away."
"Howard's wit and character bring an incomparable humor and insight to America's Got Talent," added Paul Telegdy, NBC's president of alternative and late night programming. "We are thrilled to have him return."
"I'm delighted that Howard is returning to America's Got Talent," said Trish Kinane, executive producer and president of entertainment for FremantleMedia North America. "He is honest, charismatic and committed to finding the best talent in America. It's going to be an amazing Season 10."
Stern joined the show's judging panel in 2012.
