Perolene George Thani, an 11 year Syrian child, has won the first place in the university entrance test at Vienna University for Music and Performing Arts, to be the youngest student to join this university.
Perolene has grabbed the attention of prominent musicians after she played the most notable musical pieces in the world, which prompted a university professor to ask that she be admitted to university given her unequalled talent among her peers.
On October 1, Perolene took a test at Vienna University for Music and Performing Arts, one of the leading music universities in the world, before a 12-professor panel testing 15 students over 18 years of age, winning the first place with full marks as a youngest music university student in the world.
Speaking to SANA, Perolene dedicated her achievement to her ‘beloved Syria.”
The young musician was hailed by her professors as having ‘unique fingers’ that allow for a gliding and agile movement when playing.
