The Kingdom will be affected by slight unstable weather conditions. Therefore, it will be relatively cold in the hilly areas and pleasant in other parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Clouds at various altitudes are also expected with a chance for scattered rain during morning hours in the eastern regions, while winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk at times, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 19 degrees Celsius in Amman, 21 in the northern cities and 17 in the southern governorates, dropping down to 11, 12 and 9 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 29 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 18, the JMD explained.
Mercury levels will slightly drop on Tuesday, as relatively cold weather will remain with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and a chance for scattered rain, mainly in the northern and central areas of the country. Winds will be westerly to southwesterly moderate to brisk at times, blowing dust in the desert areas, the department noted.
Similar weather conditions will continue to prevail on Wednesday with scattered rain in the northern regions that may turn heavy with thunder at times extending to some parts of the central areas, while winds will be southwesterly moderate to brisk at times, the JMD further said.
