Oscars fashion extravaganza

Nominees got together for a celebratory luncheon Los Angeles - Arabstoday Excitement is in the air - well the fashion air that is, as the official Oscars countdown begins. Monday saw a celebratory luncheon in Los Angeles with this year's female nominees opting for demure dresses whilst the men dazzled in suits and open shirts. Jennifer Lawrence wore a white strapless dress from the Chloe spring/summer 2013 collection with Casadei heels. She is up for the Best Actress Oscar for her role in Silver Linings Playbook. Jessica Chastain- who is nominated in the Best Actress category for Zero Dark Thirty - wore an Erdem pre-spring/summer 2013 floral dress with nude Christian Louboutin heels. Best Actress nominee Naomi Watts in a Valentino black embroidered dress with Christian Louboutin heels. Anne Hathaway – who is nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for Les Misérables - wore a black shift dress by The Row. Best Supporting Actress nominee Amy Adams wore a J. Mendel spring/summer 2013 floral dress with Casadei heels. The Oscars is set to take place on February 24.
