The 12th Annual Desert Smash charity tennis event

The 12th Annual Desert Smash charity tennis event on March 8th was held at the Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort and Spa, with FILA serving as the apparel and footwear sponsor. Each year, the event attracts top ATP World Tour and WTA Tour players, as well as Hollywood celebrities, while featuring a variety of pro-tennis and celebrity exhibition matches. Desert Smash exclusively benefitted St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

Desert Smash celebrities hit the court outfitted in FILA tennis apparel and footwear styles. Among the featured participants were: Ja Rule, Colton Haynes, Alan Thicke, Boris Kodjoe, Amaury Nolasco, Shaun T, Heather McDonald, and emcee and sports broadcaster, Jill Montgomery. FILA sponsored athletes John Isner and Sam Querrey were also on-hand, entertaining the crowd with singles and doubles play.

FILA's presence on-site extended to the event ball kids, each outfitted in branded tees, as well as on-court signage and a special VIP gifting suite featuring the brand's lifestyle apparel range.. Event attendees also had an opportunity to visit the FILA pop-up shop, to purchase the latest tennis and lifestyle apparel as well as FILA's new performance tennis shoe, the Cage Delirium.
