Gucci has announced the launch of a unique made-to-measure capsule collection, designed by Creative Director Frida Giannini and Lapo Elkann, set to launch in June. This exclusive collection, conceived as "Lapo’s Wardrobe", will be offered within Gucci’s made-to-measure programme, a personalised sartorial service for gentleman, and will be unveiled for the first time during the SS14 Men’s Fashion Week in Milan at the opening of a new menswear store in the city’s Brera district. The creative collaboration draws inspiration from Gucci’s Made in Italy tradition and sartorial expertise for a new take on made to measure, encompassing menswear, womenswear, and accessories. This collection will initially be available at Gucci’s boutiques in Milan, London, Paris, New York, Tokyo and Sao Paulo, where specialised staff will assist the client throughout the fabric selection, fittings, finalisation and delivery of the garment, which can require from four to six weeks. www.gucci.com
