UK lingerie brand Ann Summers has announced a collaboration with British fashiondesigner Giles Deacon, to launch a lingerie and sexcessories collection. Thispartnership marks a first for both brands, with Giles Deacon launching his first everlingerie collection and Ann Summers moving towards extending its offering and widening its appeal to take on other high street brands. Fusing two British fashionheritages into one inspirational and innovative collection, Giles Deacon for AnnSummers incorporates hand-drawn laces and prints, designed exclusively by Gilesfor Ann Summers. The SS14 collection is an eclectic mix of four key lingerie anderotic ranges and fashion-forward sexcessories, featuring rose gold intertwinednecklace and cuffs, lurex lace eye masks and a feather tickler. The collection alsoincludes a hosiery range, featuring unique prints and patterns. All pieces have beencrafted using quality luxe fabrics and bespoke patterns completed with a premiumfinish, with key pieces having multifunctional detailing (straps that double up ashand cuffs). The Giles Deacon for Ann Summers SS14 collection launches exclusivelyin Ann Summers stores and online on 1 May. An invitation only press event will take place at a pop-up in central London (see DIARY dates), where Giles Deacon andJacqueline Gold, CEO of Ann Summers, will unveil the collaboration, with interviewappointments available on request.
