Early snowfalls entices skiers to New Zealand

Early snowfall at Mount Hutt, in the South Island of New Zealand, has pulled in skiing enthusiasts all over the country. Although the white season is yet a month away, the first snow fell on the South Island mountain four weeks ago, with 20cm covering the Mount Hutt base buildings, bringing in a gaggle of keen skiers and boarders to trek to the top of the hill to get the first tracks of this year's winter season.
