Marriott International announced the opening of two new properties in Dubai to kick start the expansion of its pipeline across the Middle East and Africa. The two properties are Marriott Executive Apartments and Dubai Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf and Marriott Executive Apartments Al Jaddaf. “The Dubai Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf is our first of many future properties that are aligned with the brand’s new positioning, while the Marriott Executive Apartments further strengthens our footprint in the region’s extended stay segment,” said Alex Kyriakidis, president and managing director, Marriott International Middle East and Africa. The Dubai Marriott Hotel Al Jaddaf is the first Middle East and Africa property to open as per the new brand transformation. The hotel will boast a new logo – ‘M’ as well as the re-designed lobbies and public spaces known as ‘Greatrooms’ and introducing a mobile check-in application. The Group has 16 hotels in seven countries across the Middle East and Africa, with over 5000 rooms.
