French river operator CroisiEurope has launched three new hotel barges following the successful introduction of the La Jeanine. The new ships, which will be introduced in 2014, will operate on the canals of Burgundy, Provence and Champagne as well as the Canal Saint-Martin, which runs through Paris. The vessels – Anne-Marie, Raymonde and Madeleine – will each have 12 cabins and be aimed at couples, families and groups. A typical itinerary will be a four day cruise along the Canal Saint-Martin which goes through the regions of Paris. Sites include the Opera, the Place de la Madeleine and the Louvre. The company is already running the cruise, onboard Jeanine, and prices start from GBP545 per person. Source: Travel Daily
