Hilton Worldwide and DoubleTree by Hilton announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Residences Dubai in Al Barsha. The 359 room property is the first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel to open in the emirate and second to open in UAE, this year. “The recent openings on Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah and in Dhahran will secure our Middle East presence and build brand awareness,” said John Greenleaf, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton. The property offers 181 rooms, 13 suites, 41 studios and 124 one and two bedroom apartments. The DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai will appeal to both short and long-term stays. The dining options include three outlets: Tikka Café that offers Indian flavors; Bistro 55 that serves a selection of local and international cuisine; and Lobby Lounge. Source: Travel Daily
