Small can be beautiful and interesting too. But for that you need to have a sense of aesthetics and an understanding of space. Are you living in a small apartment? Less is definitely more in the case of small space living. -Light is important in a small room. Try hanging a big mirror opposite the window(s) to reflect light into the room. -One need not always have to buy expensive items to make it look pretty. An inexpensive paper lamp can add much character to your living space. Add colour to the room by placing rugs or cushions. Think about little things that could make your house look better and beautiful. -Remember as you don't have much space, so go small with furniture, use things such as bean bags or a small love seat! -Baskets in different sizes and colours can add much vibrancy to your space. Keep your floors clutter-free so that you can roam around without any problem. But learn to put things together with a creative eye. Place baskets on the shelves for stray items and papers. Baskets can also be used to hold magazines and books. With a little creativity you can make living in a small space pleasant. Just let your imagination work.
