The Municipality of Abu Dhabi City has called on the owners of trucks and heavy machinery to contribute to preserving the overall appearance of the city and protecting the environment by not leaving their trucks, buses and heavy equipment unattended in public places, and to park them in designated areas in Musaffah Industrial, M.18.
In a statement, the municipality said a campaign targeting the area aims to combat environmental pollution caused by the randomly parked trucks, buses and heavy machinery. The campaign, which covers several areas and sectors in Musaffah Industrial, is part of the municipality's ongoing efforts to maintain a decent image of the emirate and a clean environment.
So far, 71 warnings have been served to the owners of violating vehicles as part of the campaign, a lapse in the grace period given will result in vehicle impoundment and legal action.
