Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, DEWA, has received a delegation from the Swiss company, ABB, and discussed mutual cooperation in the field of production and generation of energy via solar energy technologies, energy production solutions, and related technologies to serve future projects.
The delegation was headed by Dr. Chunyuan Gu, MD of ABB in China and President in Asia, Middle East and Africa region.
Al Tayer welcomed the delegation and reviewed DEWA’s most important programmes, projects, and initiatives undertaken, which aim to achieve the vision of Dubai’s wise leadership.
He also reviewed DEWA’s efforts in setting up an infrastructure for electricity and water services in Dubai, in accordance with the highest international standards, for electricity generation, and water production, transportation and distribution. He noted that DEWA provides its services as per the highest standards of availability, reliability, and efficiency to achieve the happiness of all customers, partners, and stakeholders.
The delegation briefed Al Tayer on ABB’s work in the UAE, and expressed their interest in participating in DEWA’s projects.
