The Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies, EIBFS, has agreed to collaborate with its UK counterpart, the London Institute of Banking and Finance, LIBF, to update and develop EIBFS’ banking diploma programme, adopting a digital approach with the goal of qualifying national cadres for senior positions in the banking and finance sector.
Jamal Al Jassmi, General Manager of EIBFS, and Alex Fraser, Chief Executive of LIBF, signed the agreement at LIBF’s headquarters in London, in the presence of senior representatives from the two entities.
Speaking on the collaboration, Al Jassmi said, "The cooperation will contribute to diversifying our educational portfolio and help us keep abreast of global developments in the banking and finance sector. We are confident our improved offering will reinforce our position as the go-to financial education institute for students and working professionals in the UAE and the wider region."
