Fishing boat
Cairo - MENA

The initial report on the sunken fishing boat, which slammed into a cargo ship coming from the Suez Canal, showed that the accident did not cause any oil spill.
The report, issued by the Environment Ministry through the central department of environmental crises, added that no oil pollution took place in maritime environment.
The accident, which occurred after dawn near Ras Gharib in the Gulf of Suez, some 360km south of Cairo, took place when an Egyptian fishing boat collided with a Jeddah-bound Kuwaiti container ship traveling from Italy.
The accident left at least thirteen fishermen drowned, while 13 more fishermen were rescued from the sunken boat.
Efforts are underway to search for the missing fishermen.
