The number of visitors to Malaysia’s national zoo has reached a record high in Eid al-Fitr festival to see the Chinese giant pandas “Fuwa” and “Fengyi.”
A zookeeper of the National Zoo of Malaysia said the zoo received about 8,700 visitors on the first day of the three-day festival, an increase of 50 percent year-on-year. As of ten o'clock Wednesday, the zoo had its car park full and ticket office crammed with people.
To take a look at the two charming Chinese giant pandas arriving at the zoo in June, a large number of visitors gathered in front of the panda's house, which let in 200 visitors for each opening time.
