The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement says it will deport the alleged "Puppy Doe" torturer once a criminal case against the Polish-native has concluded. Radoslaw Czerkawski, 32, is currently being held at the Norfolk House of Correction on $500,000 bail on 11 counts of animal cruelty and a charge of misleading a police investigation in Quincy, Mass., the Boston Herald reported Thursday. Police say Czerkawski starved, stabbed, beat, burned and dislocated the joints of a ?1- to 2-year-old pit bull before dumping the dog in a park next door to the home where he lived with a 95-year-old dementia patient. The woman died Aug. 31? of "failure to thrive" and the dog was euthanized shortly afterward. Czerkawski is also wanted in New Bedford, Mass., where authorities say he stole 11 checks from ?St. Lawrence Martyr Church, totaling $6,400, when he lived there from January to April 2012. "Following the adjudication of his criminal charges,? Mr. Czerkawski will be turned over to ICE and placed in removal proceedings," ICE spokesman Khaalid Walls said in a statement. Czerkawski's deportation will follow any jail time he receives if convicted of the charges, Khaalid said.
