Energy Minister Majid Namjou said Wednesday that 1,000 MW of nuclear electricity will join the nationwide network by the end of the current Iranian year, March 19, 2012. According to president.ir website, the 1,000MW electricity will be generated at the Bushehr nuclear power plant. The related tests have been successfully done and the ministry is waiting for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) to announce its readiness for the operation, noted Namjou. So far, some 500MW nuclear electricity has joined the nationwide network, said the minister.
