Some world oil experts are expected to partake in the Kuwait International Health, Safety & Environment (KIHSE) Conference & Exhibition due here between February 16-17.
In their speeches during the conference, they will expound on useful and fruitful experiences in the development of oil facilities, the head of the organizing committee, Dr. Fatema Al-Dhatti said in a statement here on Saturday.
The agenda of the two-day event includes three key aspects: health, safety and environment, and covers major issues bearing on the development of sustainable culture of health, safety and environment, she added.
The two-day KIHSE Conference & Exhibition will be held under the patronage of Minister of Oil and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Ali Saleh Al-Omair and under the theme: "We Can Make a Difference to Our World".
The KIHSE Conference and Exhibition will provide an excellent opportunity for professionals from the oil and gas industry to share experiences and build fruitful relationships with stakeholders, she said.
The KIHSE will examine current practices and identify areas of improvement and world-leading solutions that can be implemented to move forward into a better future, she noted.
