Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza has received the newly-appointed Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain Qi Zhenhong.
The minister lauded the outstanding solid Bahraini-Chinese relations and cooperation in all fields, especially the energy one.
Dr. Mirza praised the steady growth of bilateral relations, citing the hiring of Chinese expertise.
He also reviewed with the new envoy the main projects implemented by the oil, gas, electricity and water sector.
They also reviewed what has been achieved since His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s visit to China and directives to boost joint cooperation and trade and economic complementarity.
Ambassador Qi Zhenhong expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the minister and all energy officials for the audience.
He expressed his country’s constant readiness to enhance cooperation in the energy sector so as to serve joint interests.
