Energy Minister Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza has received the Chief Executive Officer of the GCC Interconnection Authority (GCCIA) Ahmed Ali Al-Ebrahim, who congratulated him on the Royal trust bestowed on him through his re-appointment to the post.
Dr. Mirza congratulated Al-Ebrahim on his appointment CEO of GCCIA as from December 25, praising the role of GCCIA in consolidating fraternal ties among GCC countries.
He wished Al-Ebrahim every success in assuming his duties, lauding his rich experience which entitled him to such a prestigious post.
Ahmed Ali Al-Ebrahim expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Mirza and the energy sector officials for their constant support to the GCCIA, pledging that he will spare no effort to enhance power interconnection among GCC states, and achieve their aspirations for better services and a sustainable strategy that serves public interests in the present and the future.
