Tripoli - MENA

A blackout has occurred in several areas in Tripoli and Benghazi due to lack of natural gas needed to operate power plants.
A halt in gas supplies from Sirte Corporation has completely stopped operation at Zaytouniya station and partially at Northern Benghazi station, said Ashraf Al-Marimi, an official at the General Electric Company of Libya.
A raft of Libyan cities have been suffering from daily power cuts that exceed 10 hours.
