The rationing hours of electricity decreased in the southern region due to the efforts exerted by the government to ensure the needed fuel for operating the electricity generation stations, a source at Electricity Ministry said.
The source told SANA reporter that the improvement in the electricity system is thanks to the efforts exerted by the Ministry’s workers through repairing the damage which targeted the high-voltage lines and the electricity generation turbines at the hands of terrorist organizations , causing the stations to get out of service.
The Ministry evaluated the financial damage affected to the electricity sector due to the terrorist attacks until March by YSP 215 billion.
