Minister of State for Electricity and Water Affairs, Dr. Abdul Hussain Bin Ali Mirza met with Minister of Municipalities and Urban Planning, Dr. Jumaa Bin Ahmed Al-Kaabi in his office today. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Abdul Hussain Mirza welcomed Minister of Municipalities and Urban Planning, and highlighted that such meeting reflected the joint concern in coordination and cooperation for the welfare and interests of citizens. He also added that Electricity and Water Authority and Municipalities and Urban Planning Ministry are services bodies where all citizens count on in their daily needs that have to be taken into consideration. Meanwhile, Dr. Abdul Hussain Mirza lauded what has been achieved in the past meetings between the two ministers, pointing out the importance of completing the submitted issues and continuing the same approach. For his part, Minister of Municipalities and Urban Planning thanked Dr. Abdul Hussain Mirza for the ministry’s efforts and its coordination with all the service bodies, stressing that Ministry of Municipalities is considered a main partner with the Electricity and Water Authority in many of the services provided to citizens. The two ministers also reviewed several directives issued by the respected Cabinet concerning accelerating foresting of a number of main roads, including the entrance of Isa Town, King Faisal Corniche, where they stressed the commitment of the two ministries to maintain joint coordination and cooperation. The meeting was attended by CEO of Electricity and Water Authority, Engineer Adnan Mohammed Fakhroo, and Undersecretary of Municipalities and Urban Planning, Dr. Nabil Mohammed Abul-Fath and a number of officials in the Electricity and Water Authority and Ministry of Municipalities.
