Failure in electricity circuit fixed after power outage in Upper Egypt

A disconnection in an electricity circuit which caused power cuts in Upper Egypt on Friday has been fixed, the National Energy Control Centre (NECC) said on Saturday.
The move comes within the framework of efforts to keep the power supply across the country, Spokesman for the Electricity Ministry Mohamed Yamani said in a press statement.
Power outage hit some areas in Minya, Assiut, Sohag, Luxor and Aswan governorates on Friday due to the circuit disconnection.
