Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Tabuk Region, patronized here today the signing of a contract to implement the integrated Dibaa green plant and the project of multi-band connecting lines in Tabuk between the Saudi Electricity Company and General Electric with a total cost amounting to more than 4,500 million riyals.
This project is expected to enter service between the years 2017 and 2018 within the electrical system of high reliability which makes the region of Tabuk the gate of the kingdom to export electric energy to Egypt, Turkey and Europe and one of the largest electrical projects for the production of environmentally friendly electricity as well as it will reduce the equivalent fuel consumption and will also use solar energy to produce electricity for the first time in the kingdom.
