India and Pakistan have exchanged a list of nuclear installations and facilities through diplomatic channels simultaneously at New Delhi and Islamabad, India's Foreign Ministry stated on Wednesday. The ministry said the list was exchanged under the Agreement on the Prohibition of Attack against Nuclear Installations between India and Pakistan. The agreement, which was signed in1988, provides, inter alia, that the two countries inform each other of nuclear installations and facilities to be covered under the Agreement. Meanwhile, Pakistan and India exchanged lists of each other's prisoners under a bilateral agreement. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry handed over a list of 281 Indian prisoners, including 232 fishermen, to the High Commission of India in Islamabad. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs also handed over a list of Pakistani prisoners in Indian jails. According to this list, there are a total of 396 Pakistanis in Indian jails, including 139 fishermen.
