Iran plans to inaugurate the largest wind power plant in the Middle-East near Zahedan, the capital city of the country's Southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan, member of photovoltaic scientific society of wind energy in Iran Gholamreza Sar Golzari said.
Sar Golzari said that the first-ever 20 megawatt wind power plant is to be constructed eight kilometers away from Zahedan city, according to FARS News Agency.
He further added that the project will be financed by the Bank of Industry and Mines.
