Tokyo - RT

Japan’s government has confirmed as safe plans to restart two offline reactors, Industry Minister Yukio Edano said on Friday.  It was “deemed necessary” to restart the reactors, he said, as cited by AFP. The two offline reactors at the Oi atomic power plant in western Japan will be restarted after safety checks ordered by the government. The move will prevent Japan from shutting down all its nuclear plants in the wake of last year’s atomic disaster.
